Kerry Ashmore - clarinet sub
Kerry filled in for us on clarinet, at the June 1, 2012 Pratt Ice Cream Social. He also sang on "Up a Lazy River." In addition to his clarinet work, Kerry was a fine banjo player.
Over the years. Kerry played for Shakey's Pizza sing-alongs, the Pig's Eye Jass Band, and several other trad-jazz groups around the Twin Cities. His long-time day job was owner-editor-publisher of the "Northeaster," a local community newspaper, based in Minneapolis's northern suburbs.
Unfortunately, Kerry died of cancer in February, 2014. He will be sorely missed by the many friends he made in his musical, professional, and personal lives.
